Traffic Is Cool At Traffics Cool!

Find Many Traffic Grabbing Methods And Get 6 Free Reports Just For Looking!.  Find Out More!

Following on from the release of 30 Day Traffic Flow I have my second traffic and list building site called Traffics Cool.

It is my intention that it will develop into a Traffic, List Building and Make Money Center of Excellence. I am working on the idea of having a membership site which caters for all levels of Internet Marketing experience.

It is a while of creation at the moment and I would like to show you what it is at the moment.

There is a free sign up where you can get 7 free traffic and list building reports and an option to join the ‘Inner Circle’ for $10. Inside there are loads of resources and anyone who joins now will become a lifetime member when the membership site is launched.

I have put together a short video to explain everything here…….

To join me in this journey you can sign up at http://www.traffics-cool.com/free/

Can your site be penalized for duplicate content if the content is your own?

The answer is probably not the whole site but this post might not be ranked highly.

I will get to the point in a moment.

Recently I was talking to John Thornhill about where I should go from here with my online journey. It was during that conversation that I mentioned an article I once wrote called ‘How To Make Money Online – Don’t Be A Plate Spinner’ I asked him how he managed to keep all his many plates spinning.

Other than taking things day by day he says he just looks at the weeks calender at what needs doing, prioritize a little and then gets on with it.

He doesn’t always achieve everything at the times intended but more often than not everything is achieved by the end of the week.

It really doesn’t pay to get yourself all stressed out about getting everything done on time. Some things can wait and whilst it can feel like walking through treacle as long as you don’t sink you will be fine.

Now back to my article. I thought I would share it here. Even though it is 5 years old some of it is still relevant today……………..

You must have seen those guys who spin the plates on sticks.

One after another they get the plates spinning until there are around 20+ plates spinning, and with just the occasional spin they keep them going until the act is over.

If you are not careful, your attempts to make money online can be akin to the amateur plate spinner. If you don’t master the art of spinning your first plate, there is no point moving onto the next plate.

So, trying to spin six plates at once before you learn how to spin one will only end up with a lot of broken plates.

Whilst it is widely known that the best way of making money online is with Multiple Income Streams, if you don’t master your first ‘plate’, spinning two will not be easier.

To get an idea of how many potential ‘plates’ are out there, all you have to do is a quick search on Google for “How To Make Money Online” (with quotes) and you can then work your way through the 645,000 sites and 39 pages of sponsored links.

Even if you whittle it down to your top 10 money making ideas it is still a lot of ‘plates’ to start with.

I just did a quick search and just on the first page there is a wide mix of ways to make money.

Blogs, Niche Content Websites, Text Link Ads, Squidoo, Elance, Avon, Affiliate Programs and then you have got others like Adsense, Adwords, Surveys, Type At Home and many products claiming to be the next amazing cash producing formula.

My advice to anyone looking to make money online, would be to start their first ‘plate’ in an area that interests them.

Thoroughly research your subject and be wary of the many scams out there.

If you are considering purchasing a program or product, email the owner with any questions you may have about his product.

If he can’t be bothered answering your email, why should he get your money?

If you do a search for “product name + review” you will get plenty of results of review sites. Bear in mind that these are someones opinions and opinions differ from one person to another.

Another popular search term is “product name + scam” and the results again will throw up thousands of sites suggesting what you are thinking of buying is a scam.

This was a very clever sales technique which encouraged people to click on the ad to see if what they were thinking of buying was a scam.

You are then taken through a tried and tested sales pitch of doubt and then hope and are ultimately guided towards a sale.

I say it WAS a clever sales technique, because in my opinion it is being used too often by too many.

Another way to research your subject is through forums. For example a search for “affiliate marketing forums” will bring up thousands of results and you will find lots of things under discussion and no end of opinions on the product or program you are thinking of joining.

Whatever area you decide to start in, remember get your first ‘plate’ spinning before you add another and another and so on until your own multiple income streams are spinning along nicely.

One last bit of advice, and this is the most important part of this article. YOU MUST TAKE ACTION.

Nobody is going to do it for you, there is no e-book that magically produces money once read.

You are the master of your own destiny, set yourself goals and TAKE ACTION.

How To Add A Gravatar To Your Posts And Comments

If you have seen posts that have comments with the authors picture or an image other than a silhouette of a head and wondered how to do your own, this post is for you.

In my opinion it is best to use your own picture and not to hide behind an image of the devil or something. Unless of course you really are the devil.

People are more likely to associate with you if they can see your face and follow your link to your site.

It really is simple to have your own Gravatar and all you need is a picture of you and an email address.

The first thing you need to do is sign up at Gravatar.com .

Click the link to sign up and you will see a screen like this

Just enter your email address and you will be taken to a screen explaining how to confirm your email.

You will then be asked to provide an image to use as your Gravatar and there are a number of ways you can do this.

You will then be given your options for you to provide a picture.

Once you locate your image you are then asked to crop it to how you would like it to show. If it is OK as it is just click ‘Crop and Finish’

The next screen is where you rate your picture. I don’t mean that you say “great picture I am gorgeous” or “I didn’t like how the wind made me look bald”

You select one of the options shown on-screen.

On the next screen you are asked to choose an image to use for your email address. You can also add more emails if you like and also more images.

The next time you post a comment anywhere that accepts Gravatars just use the email address you signed up with and your lovely self will be there for all to see.

I know you are itching to try it out so go on comment away………

30 Day Traffic Flow was created by me (Dave Whitworth) with a lot of help from John Thornhill.

I thought I would write this post to explain what it is and why it exists.

First off a little background to explain why 30 Day Traffic Flow was even thought of in the first place.

I won’t go too far back into my online activities. Suffice to say I have spent many thousands of dollars chasing the dream. For years I convinced myself it was a hobby and it was alright to buy product after product that promised riches.

I even got myself a mentor many years ago but it turned out I was producing his content for him on weekly Skype calls.

It put me off the internet scene for about two years and then recently I got an email from John Thornhill and that led me to a discounted coaching program which I realised was excellent content but I needed more.

I joined John’s Partnership To Success program and a part of that program involves product creation.

After a bit of brainstorming I decided to create a program to help people with their traffic generation.

Having built a number of sites and tried virtually every method of free traffic generation, I knew how frustrating it could be to get visitors to a website.

A while ago I created a simple spreadsheet to keep track of my activity and thought that it would be a good idea to develop this system into something that anyone could use to get targeted traffic to their site.

I am not a spreadsheet expert and was only able to produce the bare bones of a spreadsheet. My wife Christine is the design expert and a wiz with spreadsheets and databases. Also I am not sure how much it would cost to have someone develop the ‘Traffic Light System’ spreadsheet but I am sure it would cost a lot more than the course is selling for!

And so 30 Day Traffic Flow was born, my first proper creation and the start of things to come.

Having followed John’s training and having him and his sons Jamie and Alex to help has been invaluable. With weekly live training and access to everything John has ever produced, the fee for the course is probably the best value for your money you could get online.

Having been involved in Internet Marketing for a long time I was surprised to find that in some areas I was close to solving the riddle but in other areas I was going down the wrong path.

Hopefully I am now on the right path and I hope that this post has been of help to anyone who reads it.

My two three pieces of advice for you are:

  1. Buy 30 Day Traffic Flow :-)
  2. Get yourself a mentor who knows what they are talking about.
  3. Create your own product.

Website Traffic With Guest Blog Posting

Writing guest blog posts can be a great way to get traffic to your site. Blog commenting can also get you visitors but if you can write something that complements the target blog then by guest posting you can get lots more traffic.

If you write posts for your own blog then there should be no reason for you not to do a guest post.

Probably the only thing holding you back is you!

What is the worst thing that can happen if a blog owner turns you down. Well, your ego might be dented slightly but it is hardly the end of the world.

If you do ever get turned down and the blog owner doesn’t tell you why. Ask them!

It could be a simple matter of your post not complementing the theme of the blog. There is no point approaching a dog blog owner with a cat post.

As it is not the easiest thing to keep a steady flow of great content on our blogs most blog owners will welcome you with open arms.

I recently did a guest post about traffic generation for John Thornhill. If you are not sure who John is you can check him and my guest post out at http://www.johnthornhill.com/blog/3-top-traffic-tips/.

Remember to keep your content relevant to the target blog and provide great unique content and you will be seen as something of an authority and people will want to take a look at what else you have to offer.

Guest blog posting is one of the methods we go into more detail at http://www.30daytrafficflow.com and you can get a copy for less than it would cost for just one of the many reports available.

Can We Escape The Walls Of The Garden?

“Walled gardens” was a term used to describe the AOL and CompuServe services which tried to do everything for everyone in the early days of the internet.

Ultimately, they failed in their quest to dominate as smaller services took advantage of people not wishing to be tied up by the big boys.

Leaping right up to date and we have new walled gardens vying for pole position in the world of Social Networks.

There are a number of social networking sites and surely 2011 could be classed as the year of domination for some of the top dogs.

If you own a social networking site not only are you very rich but also very powerful. Facebook has around 800 million users around the world and more than half of them log in each day.

Facebook is so big I wouldn’t be surprised if they had their own currency soon!

Google Plus was launched in June and already has around 40 million users. A long way behind Facebook, but I feel the gap will start to close in the New Year. Whilst both Google and Facebook compete for basically the same audience it could make for interesting viewing for the neutral. If there is such a thing as a neutral that is!

The third big shooter is Twitter and it has ruffled a few feathers recently with some changes that didn’t appeal to everyone.

In my opinion Twitter are not too bothered about upsetting some of the old regime and are looking for a new generation of users.

It is my prediction for 2012 that Facebook, Google Plus and Twitter will be the big three players and will attempt to make their own ‘walled gardens’ more secure.

I think the gloves will be off and there will be lots more things like improved video chat, movies, music and lots more great content to keep you within their walls, unable to escape until you have satisfied their needs, or they yours.

So, with 2012 upon us, how will your garden grow?

Will you become entrapped inside the walled garden or will you have a little more freedom and still explore the World Wide Web as it was intended, following the well laid out links from place to place whilst keeping one eye on how the garden grows?

Dave

Happy New Year and I hope you all have the success you are striving for!

Over the holiday period I appear to have partially erased my memory. This morning I tried to login to a site but couldn’t remember the password.

Checking my login folder proved fruitless as I hadn’t saved it either. A small inconvenience but still 10 minutes wasted time.

A quick look back.

2011 was an interesting year in my online endeavours. I joined John Thornhill’s One On One Coaching program, and whilst it is his most expensive course there are many benefits if you are prepared to use them.

You have access to all John’s products and some others he has procured from his Internet Marketing friends.

Basically, you have access to every type of course and money-making idea you would ever need. You just need to find the time to use them.

John preaches that to be a success online you must get into product creation. He has a number of coaching programs and some of the content is used in more than one of his courses as it is relevant to them all.

Producing your own product can seem like a daunting task and unless you are prepared to work you will not get anywhere. He doesn’t offer a total done for you service but he is always around to help.
Lets face it, if you are trying to make a living online you have to be prepared to work hard at it. Forget all those systems that promise you can retire within a week. They don’t work and the people behind them are making a fortune based on the fact that we are prepared to try it out ‘just incase it does works’.

OK, back to product creation, procrastination, fear and failure.

One of the courses that John runs is his Marketing Masterclass and it is a slightly cut down version of his Partnership To Success course that I am on but it is still a very good course if you are prepared to put in the work.

Unfortunately, not everyone is, and there are some members who just give up and some times they will be well into the course and ‘something will come up’ which stops them in their tracks. No doubt some have genuine problems but in my opinion some give up before they really try.

Mindset is a well versed subject which is very relevant if you want to succeed.

You simply have to bite the bullet. Procrastination and fear of failure are only a frame of mind and taking the first steps is often the hardest thing to do.

Creating your own product doesn’t have to be as difficult as you convince yourself it is. You don’t need to create something that nobody has done before and it doesn’t matter how many similar products are out there. Just getting your first product finished is the start of things to come.

You will undoubtably go through the full range of emotions and self-doubt will be your close companion for a lot of your journey. Even when you have created your first product you will wonder if it will sell at all, but you must carry on, put all your fears behind you and look to the future and not the past.

So, what does 2012 have in store for me?

Well, I finished my first product, http://www.30daytrafficflow.com which basically does what it says in its name. It is a system to help people get a flow of targeted traffic to their sites in 30 Days or less.

I spent hours putting the content together and at no stage in the proceedings was I happy that it would ever be finished. Indeed it probably won’t be as I intend to add to it whenever I think I can improve it.

It has been available on Clickbank since just before Christmas but we don’t intend to launch until mid January. It would be nice to get a few sales under its belt though as it would be good to keep the thoughts of self-doubt at bay.

I am in the process of creating my second product which is more of a membership site for traffic generation. It is fully functional at the moment but I need to work more on the sales page and the content. It is called Traffics Cool and I have done a simple page with a few affiliate links at http://www.traffics-cool.com, a free offer to join my membership at http://www.traffics-cool.com/free/ and a blog at http://www.traffics-cool.com/blog/.

I am trying to build a list and hopefully my two products will go a long way to doing that.

So, onwards and upwards and quitting is not an option.

What will 2012 bring for you? A full range of emotions, your own product, a few sales or many sales? If you do nothing, nothing will happen. Don’t sit around waiting for your lottery ticket to come up or the new fangled product that really works bringing you a fortune overnight.

Grasp the nettle and enjoy the journey. Make this year your year!

Sure Fire Tips For Affiliate Marketing Success

Sure Fire Tips For Affiliate Marketing Success

Affiliate Marketing is one of the most lucrative ways to make money online.  Because it involves selling other people’s products, there is no need to come up with any of your own, making it very attractive as well.  Use these tips to help you drive traffic to your affiliate sites and generate a healthy income for yourself.

Know your market. The first thing that you need to do is know who your target audience is.  There is no sense in trying to sell widgets to doll collectors or dolls to widget collectors.  You should build your website and your content around your readers’ interests and lead them to the products or services of your affiliates that they would likely purchase.  If you plan on selling in multiple areas, then set up multiple websites, each with its own focus.

Don’t say things that aren’t true. Your target market must be able to trust you.  Never give them false information, and don’t peddle products that you don’t believe in.  If you can build trust with your customers, they will come back to purchase more products from you in the future.  On the other hand, if they feel they can’t trust you, they will talk and you will lose future customers and damage your reputation.

Give your readers what they want.  Perhaps the best way to get readers to revisit your website is to provide them with information that they need.  If you are selling golf clubs, for example, tailor your content around helping them improve their game.  They will reward you for it by bookmarking your website and coming back for more.

Select your affiliates carefully.  Just as you wouldn’t want to hang around with nefarious people in your social life, you don’t want to engage in business with unscrupulous affiliates.  Don’t agree to affiliations with any company until you have done research to make sure that they are reputable.  You’ll also want to shop around for the best payout rates and schedules.

For maximum profits, you need multiple affiliates.  Focusing on a single product is a mistake that many people make when they are first starting out.  Your goal should be to grow your business into a large venture with as many good affiliates as you have time to promote.

Your content should stand the test of time.  When writing content for your website, make sure that it is something that will still be relevant one year, two years or even ten years from now.  You don’t want to be constantly updating or replacing the content on your website; you’re going to be too busy creating new stuff to worry about the old.

You have to be patient.  The number one reason that people fail at affiliate marketing is that they don’t give it enough time.  Affiliate marketing is a sound, solid business, and you can become very successful when you build your business one affiliate brick at a time.  You only need patience and hard work to become a success.

Your content must be high quality.  There is nothing more frustrating for website visitors who are spending what precious little time they have left in their days to look for information or products online, only to have their searches rewarded with illegible nonsense.  Make sure that your content is relevant and that it is written well.  If you can’t write, find someone that can.

Those are some of the best tips that you should practice as you start building your affiliate marketing empire.  You’re going to learn a lot more along the way and, in time, could even become what is considered a “guru” in the field. In any case, your hard work and patience are going to make you an excellent affiliate marketer.

How To Get More Eyeballs On Your Website

If it isn’t hard enough to get visitors to your site, you then have to convert them into buyers. By using some of the tips below you can drive hordes of people to your content and then turn them into buyers.

A good tactic to use when thinking of increasing our website traffic is by giving something of value away.

We can do this directly from our website but it is a good idea to create a separate page. A squeeze page.

By creating a squeeze page we can build a list of potential customers. If we have given them something for free which is a teaser to our product we then know that they could be interested in what we have to offer.

We can then build a relationship with them and introduce them to our wares.

Whilst this method does not attract direct traffic to our site it is a must do strategy. In fact we should try to build a list of potential customers at every opportunity.

Once you create your giveaway product you could give it to your current subscribers and ask them for feedback. You need to create a great product to give away to build up a little credibility.

A great way to get traffic to your site is by guest posting. Find one or two blogs in your niche and approach the blog owners about doing a guest post.

Create some great content and place a link to your site at the bottom.

A lot of people miss out on this opportunity because they think that other blog owners are their competition. If you are both selling the exact same thing then this is true. If you are selling something which complements or at least doesn’t take away from the other blog owners product then you should be greeted with open arms.

Any blog owner will tell you that getting good unique content regularly is not an easy task, and will be glad of the help

By using social media you can get massive spikes in traffic.

There are many social media and social bookmarking sites and you may have your own favorites, but the best way to get noticed is by getting noticed for giving something to the community.

If you constantly push promotion after promotion you will probably get ignored, and although you may have amassed thousands of ‘friends’ or ‘followers’ you might as well talk to yourself.

If you don’t have a blog, you need to get one as soon as possible. Having a blog allows you to interact better with your visitors whilst also pointing them towards your goods.

By building a list of subscribers you can email them when ever you create new content on your blog.

Just because someone signed up for your newsletter doesn’t mean they are a constant visitor.

By sending them updates about your content they might see something they like.

If it is your own site or affiliate products that you are promoting the above strategies can work in varying degrees.

These ideas are not a set it and forget it strategy and will need a little work from you.

It is true to say that when building traffic this way, the more you put in the more you will get out.
