Will we? Won’t we?
If the Government put Greater Manchester in tier three then we will miss another week’s trip. I know it’s not against the law to leave a tier three area, but it is guidance, and we have tried to follow guidance throughout this pandemic.
I sometimes wonder who produces the latest restrictions though and if they really believe they will work or do they put a few ideas on a sheet of paper and spin a bottle?
If I am honest and I usually am then they lost me when they said I couldn’t meet my daughter and grandson in a pub, but I could sit with five more people around a table but only if I hadn’t arranged to meet them. In my local there are a group of around ten to fifteen regulars who don’t always go in, but it usually ends up with six around a table. I didn’t arrange to meet them so maybe it would be OK to just bump into my family and have a catch up who knows? I can’t have them around the house though.
Anyhow, if we don’t go, I will have to spend my time trolling the Facebook Groups, Forums and YouTube Videos to keep me going.
Update: With us moving into Tier 3 lockdown we decided to follow guidelines (even if I don’t necessarily agree with them) and stay at home. 😪
